Billing Changes:
As of January 1, 2024, Waring Wellness/Kristina M Waring MA CCC-SLP transitioned to an Out-Of-Network (OON) Provider status with all private insurance carriers. Waring Wellness is also not an enrolled provider for Alaska Medicaid, Denali KidCare, Medicare or VA Community Care. Please refer to the section labeled Medicaid, Medicare, and VA Community Care Recipients below.
What does it mean to be an OON provider for Patients with Private Insurance Carriers? If your plan includes Speech-Voice Therapy benefits, the cost of services is often applied to your out-of-pocket expense rather than the in-network deductible. If your plan does not provide any Speech-Voice Therapy benefits, the cost of services does not apply toward any out-of-network or out-of-pocket expenses.
How is billing handled by Waring Wellness? Waring Wellness/Kristina M Waring MA CCC-SLP has partnered with Reimbursify to provide you with support in self-filing your claims.
How It Works Is Simple
-
You pay at the time of each service (cash deposit using Venmo, personal check or credit cards accepted)
-
Log into your patient portal and download your superbill/receipt for each date of service (found under Payments tab) or from your mobile device snap a screenshot of the superbill/receipt
-
Create your free account with Reimbursify
-
Enter your insurance carrier’s information
-
Upload your paid superbill/invoice to your Reimbursify account and...voilà...
-
Your claim will be processed by your carrier within 4-6 weeks
-
Reimbursify will work with your insurance carrier to ensure you receive any out-of-network benefits available under your current policy
-
If your plan offers speech-voice therapy benefits you can expect to receive 70%-80% reimbursement of your claim (% of reimbursement is determined by your carrier’s plan) from your health care carrier
-
Yes, you read that correctly...you receive the payment directly from your insurance carrier for the covered percentage of service cost available by your plan
-
Not sure if you have benefits? Verify your out-of-network benefits for free here: VERIFY BENEFITS
